Down the Rabbit Hole - SALA 2024

Various artists
From Saturday 3rd August - Sunday 25th August

Artists were invited to be inspired by Alice in Wonderland for their SALA work this year. This favourite storybook from childhood holds many remembered scenes that could inspire creative persuit. Or when re-read from an adult perspective we may find different interpretations.

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland

This exhibition includes a variety of media and techniques.  Pictorial images and imaginative representations are both included in paint, pastel, pen and ink work, photography, textiles and mixed media and sculpture.

But there are other kinds of rabbit holes too!

Artists hail from near and far, from Auburn, the Clare Valley
and surrounding districts and from Adelaide.  Some are established artists who have exhibited before and others are new to the experience.

Opening Hours

The gallery is closed all July.

Reopening for SALA exhibition on Saturday 3rd August.
10am - 4pm Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

PLEASE NOTE: The gallery hours may vary during the year.  If you are travelling especially to visit and exhibition please phone ahead to confirm that the gallery will be open, or to arrange a private visit.
