French Fusion
As part of the inaugural Auburn Frenchfest, Linhay Gallery invited artists to reflect upon the ways in which Auburn demonstrates similarities with country areas of France. Some have visited France on holidays, others have travelled and studied at French Art School with Jacqueline Coates, a well-known Kapunda artist. All have been inspired to create work that reflects their experience in France or areas of Auburn that remind them of France.
Altogether a super collection of interesting and varied work.
Linhay Gallery has a COVID-safe plan, so numbers are limited and visitors are expected to use hand sanitizer and check in with the Contact Tracing Record upon entry to the gallery as well as keeping appropriate space between each other.
