Uncompromisingly Blue

Stellan Schroeder Englund

From Saturday 1st April - Sunday 14th May 2023

newStellan was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1970. He has been active as a hobby artist from an early age. He worked as photographer/illustrator on a non-professional level for 25 years and has created commemorative pins, props and scenography for theatre.

Stellan has held several solo exhibitions as well as partaken in numerous group exhibitions in Stockholm before emigrating to South Australia.

An exciting new exhibition of painting made on location in the Flinders Ranges.

He has also been very active as a scale model builder and exhibited, competed and judged scale models for many years. Stellan continues to be an active instructor for scale modelling and airbrushing.

This exhibition is the result of Stellan's retreat in the Flinders Ranges, observing the landscape and reflecting upon his new home area, South Australia, in comparison to his homeland in Sweden.
